Best Potato Salad Recipe

|
I write to you from the frigid tundra of Green Bay, WI. After driving through dense fog through most of the way last night, Sarah and I finally made it home. It's been one whole year since we both have been back to GB. Already we have been greeted by the snow this morning. Three to five inches are expected today and I still need to do my Christmas shopping! Even if we are being attacked by the abominable snowman, I'll still be going out to get those gifts.

Anyways, since this is the season for cooking and eating, I thought I'd share with you all my favorite potato salad recipe by Patti LaBelle that she shared on the Oprah show. It's the best I've had and much better than the store bought stuff. I usually leave out the hot peppers since I don't like my food spicy.

Patti LaBelle's Famous Potato Salad

  • Seasoned salt (like Lawry's)
  • Celery seed
  • Paprika for garnish

Place potatoes, eggs and celery in a large mixing bowl. Add all other ingredients to taste.
