Red and White

On the skytrain, all over downtown, in the office, at malls—wherever I go, all I see is red and white. With the arrival of the olympics, the city seems to have suddenly transformed overnight. Usually the city has a very laid back kind of vibe, but now there’s so much energy and excitement. Vancouverites and Canadians from all over are on fire rooting for their athletes. It’s quite amazing to see the sudden transformation take place within 24 hours of the opening of the games. Even though I’m not a Canadian, it’s so great to see all the hope, joy and pride Canadians bring to the olympic games.
